Senzerina creates jewelry in several steps, from an initial artistic sketch to your completed order
· DRAWING
At the beginning it’s just an idea, a concept or feeling. Depending on the design, we conceive a computer sketch in 3D or on paper. Sometimes the designer will even be inspired to create directly on wax.
· PROTOTYPE & WAX MODEL
To better anticipate the final product, we will create a rubber mold that will allow us to easily reproduce our piece in metal. To replicate our jewelry, we simply inject the wax into a rubber mold and let it cool. If we only need one item, we will simply make a wax prototype without a mold.
· .CASTING
We place the cylinder in a ultra-high temperature oven to melt the wax. The metal will take the place of the wax in the plaster mold. Depending on your preference, we will achieve the desired metal composition through alloys or mixtures.
· DEMOLDING
After your mold has cooled, we will correct any imperfection and the shaft will be cut out.
· FIRST POLISHING
We will work on the jewel to give it the best aspect. A first polishing will be done. This is the most important step to remove surface defects due to the wax casting.
· SELECTION OF GEMS
We select the best pearls and stones available on the market. Our gems respect ethical and eco-friendly criteria to the extent possible.
· SETTING
The setting process is the meticulous integration of gems into metal.
· SECOND POLISHING
The next stage of polishing allows us to achieve the best brightness to your jewel. Stamping is also part of this finish. Depending on the metal, it is a legal obligation, especially for gold jewelry.
· FINAL TOUCH
A final touch of polishing and a cleansing with an ultrasound are among the final touches..
Our designer will personally conduct the quality control of your jewel with a magnifying glass or microscope.
All the pearls in our designs are hand-drilled directly from the farms or by the designer herself.
From Pearl Manufacture to Threading
Traditional stringing of your jewelry is the best option for attaching your pearls.
We gather the necessary materials: a string of pearls, a silk thread, a needle, a helical metal wire, a strong glue, a clasp, and threading pliers.
We choose the length: stringing pearls makes the initial strand slightly longer, so we must count the number of extra centimeters because of the knots between each pearl.
The length is up to you, as we choose the size that suits you. The dimensions will change the style.
Threading according to the model you have chosen, the pearls are always placed in a precise order beforehand for graduated necklaces.
Finally, we string the pearls to secure the pearls with silk knots and attach the clasp.
